IT’S TIME FOR THE SEASON 7 PLAYOFFS!

Round 1 of the Season 7 Playoffs begins today! Matches for Round 1 must be played by Sunday, December 22nd.

The Playoff map list can be found in ⁠📋┊weekly-maplist. The Away team (listed on the bottom of the bracket) will select one map to block. The Home team (listed on top of the bracket) will then select the first map & side from the remaining 5 maps.

Teams are reminded of the Playoff Rules listed below. More information can be found on our website here: https://mohaasnipersleague.com/playoffs/

1. The rules from the Regular season apply to the playoff rounds, unless otherwise noted.

2. The playoffs will be double elimination. At the end of the Season, teams will be seeded in a bracket according to their league point total found in the league standings. In the case of ties at the end of the Season tie-breakers will be used in this order:
   
   A. Head-to-head record
   B. Head-to-head round total
   C. Total round differential in all matches played. (SF in the standings table)

3. At the beginning of the playoff rounds, the League Staff will set a deadline for when matches need to be played by. Matches can only be postponed with approval from the League Staff.

4. Initial bracket seeding will be determined by the results of the Regular Season. The Home team will be determined by the team listed on the top part of the Playoff Bracket.

5. Six maps will be selected for the Playoffs by the League. The same format as the Regular season will be used for map/side selection. The Home team will select the 3rd map if needed. Maps cannot be played twice.

6. Best of 3 maps will be used. The first team to win 2 maps advances in the playoff.

7. If a playoff match ends in a tie, with neither teams reaching the 2-map threshold, a best-of-3 round tiebreaker will be played. Teams will remain on the sides and map that they finished on. The first team to win 3 rounds advances in the playoffs.
