Season 7 Updates
The following changes have been made to the League Rules:
💥 A weekly map pool rotation will be selected from the Approved Maps List and will consist of 4 maps. The weekly maplist will be made available in advance by the League Staff. Teams will only be allowed to select maps from that week’s list. If a match is postponed, teams would still have to choose maps from that were assigned to that match week. These guidelines only apply to the Regular Season.
💥 The Away team will have the option to “ban” a map on the Weekly Maplist from being played.
💥 Initial bracket seeding will be determined by the results of the Regular Season. The Home team will be determined by the team listed on the top part of the Playoff Bracket.
💥 Six maps will be selected for the Playoffs by the League. The same format as the Regular season will be used for map/side selection. The Home team will select the 3rd map if needed. Maps cannot be played twice.
💥 If a playoff match ends in a tie, with neither teams reaching the 2-map threshold, a best-of-3 round tiebreaker will be played. Teams will remain on the sides and map that they finished on. The first team to win 3 rounds advances in the playoffs.
💥 Round time has been changed to 4 minutes.
💥 Shoutcasters will be broadcasting matches throughout the season.
